Goal for Project: The goal was to reimagine Ganni as a more equitable and sustainable brand by addressing the fashion industry's challenges of overconsumption and overproduction. The aim was to build on Ganni's existing sustainability efforts and propose innovative strategies to position the brand as a leader in eco-conscious fashion. Your Experience: My experience working on this project reinforced the reality that fashion, by nature, is an unsustainable business. However, I was glad to find that Ganni acknowledges this challenge and is actively seeking solutions. This allowed me to work with a brand that was already committed to sustainability, providing a unique opportunity to further enhance their initiatives and propose new strategies for reducing environmental impact. Outcome: The project resulted in a plan to expand Ganni's sustainability model, including the adoption of circular fashion practices and greater transparency in production. These initiatives aim to reduce waste, improve resource efficiency, and strengthen Ganni’s brand identity as a sustainable fashion leader. The strategy is expected to appeal to the growing market of eco-conscious consumers while significantly reducing the brand's environmental footprint.
